Outstanding Teacher Programme (OTP)

Designed and facilitated by experienced school leaders and teachers, the Outstanding Teacher Programme gives good (and outstanding) teachers a set of high level skills and strategies that enable them to become consistently and sustainably outstanding. It helps them to:

  • Demonstrate higher level understanding of teaching and improve learning for pupils
  • Coach colleagues in their own school and in other schools to raise performance
  • Create a proactive school culture where the quality of teaching and learning is observed, discussed, challenged and enhanced
  • Increase 'job' satisfaction and create opportunities for further leadership and career progression

Improving Teacher Programme (ITP)

Designed by experienced and successful school leaders this highly effective programme gives improving teachers a set of skills and strategies to reach the next teaching level. For example, it enables them to:

  • provide their pupils with the best possible learning experience
  • improve standards in their classrooms and schools
  • increase their job satisfaction and quality of experience
  • work more effectively as active members of their school team

The programme is a key part of the OLEVI portfolio of school‐to‐school support, which is helping to increase capacity and drive up standards in schools. Among many benefits this programme helps school staff consistently to deliver good quality lessons that have a measurable impact on pupil performance.

Outstanding Leadership in Education (OLE)

What is the purpose?
The programme is activity based and interactive with theory interjected through the analysis of a Professional Audit and the completion of a Personal Action Plan. There will be the opportunity for delegates to have access to an external professional educational coach, to move their leadership forward.

This programme was developed and piloted in 2007 and has become a very successful tool for many schools at many different levels of leadership: Senior Leadership, Middle Leadership and New Leaders in Role. Many schools have embedded the principles in the student/pupil body when developing young leaders.
